Suzanne Inez Covault

On Sept. 2, 2026, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Suzanne "Suzie" Inez Covault (Hood/Judd) passed away peacefully, at the age of 79, in Anchorage, Alaska.

She was born on July 11, 1947, to Dixie and Erwin Hood in Cottage Grove, Ore. Following her parents' divorce, she took the name of her stepfather, Donald Judd. She was later married and divorced within the Covault family. A woman of strong faith, she was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Mountain Coast Vineyard Church.

Suzie was highly dedicated and hard-working, retiring after 30 years of service with Cal Worthington Ford. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by her children, Sherrie (Covault) Hill and husband, Keith, Donald Covault and Kenneth Covault and wife Anita.

She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Lindsey Jones, Tyler Hill, Shaun Evansek and Steven Rye; two great-grandchildren, including great-granddaughter Rosaleigh Small-Hill; and five siblings, of whom she was oldest, Randy Judd, Sandy Dufalo, Dixie Judd Erickson, Tammy Judd Jenny and April Lindloff.

No formal services will be held. Suzanne's urn will be permanently placed in an indoor glass-encased niche at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery in Anchorage.
