In Loving Memory of Anne Teresa Gardner

Anne Teresa Gardner passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2026, at the age of 86.

Anne was born in Dublin, Ireland, on Sept. 19, 1939, to James and Mary Dunne. Anne came to the United States in 1962. She married George Gardner in Washington, D.C., in 1967. Together they moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1968 before making Anchorage, Alaska, their home in 1982.

Anne loved a good laugh, a competitive game of golf and spending time with friends and family.

Anne will be remembered for her quick wit, her Irish "gift of the gab" and her spirit for adventure. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Jason Gardner and wife, Felicia Gardner of Kailua, Hawaii; daughter, Jennifer Gardner of Anchorage; grandchildren, Daniel Gardner of El Paso, Texas, and Elizabeth Gardner of Kailua; and great-grandchildren, Nolan Gardner and Alexander Gardner, both of Texas.

Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 4 p.m., at O'Malley's On the Green, Denali Room.

Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate Anne's life, share memories and honor the love and joy she brought to all who knew her.
