Apr 11, 2026

Jeffrey David Allen Erickson, age 53, passed away in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born on Aug. 3, 1972, in Linton, N.D., to David and LaVonne Erickson. He moved to Eagle River, Alaska, in 1998.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who found deep joy in wild places and new adventures. Whether on a sheep hunt in the mountains of Alaska, fishing in his secret spot along the banks of a quiet creek, hunting whitetail in the Northwoods or hiking to the tallest peak in view, he embraced the natural world with an extraordinary sense of awe and wonder that inspired all who shared these moments with him.

With a master's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse, Jeff had a successful career in cardiac rehabilitation and medical device sales centered on exceptional patient care. He was also an independent businessman and the owner/operator of BC Brothers Alaska, a community-focused construction company named for his two sons.

Jeff took great pride in sharing his love for the outdoors, passing along the skills, stories and respect for nature that meant so much to him. He was equally generous in the communities where he lived, always willing to lend his talents to help his friends and neighbors. Above all, he fiercely loved his family and was deeply grateful for the enduring love they shared. That love is reflected so clearly in his two sons Ben and Cole, and in the 24 years of marriage he shared with his wife Allison.

The values he lived by and the love he gave so freely endure in his family and friends today, reflected in all they carry forward.

He is survived by his wife, Allison Erickson; sons, Benjamin and Cole Erickson; parents, David and LaVonne Erickson; sisters, Vonda Kae Jones (Erickson) and Shelly Krosbakken (Erickson).
