Geraldine Ann "Geri" Thorngren

Geraldine Ann Thorngren, 95, passed away on Dec. 20, 2025, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. She was born in Kickapoo, Kan., on July 5, 1930. She moved to Alaska in 1953 and lived there for 55 years. She worked for the school district and as a book keeper in Fairbanks, Alaska, and retired in 1989. Geri enjoyed games, puzzles, journaling and outings with family and friends.

Geri is survived by her sons, Del, Dave, Scott and Zane; and sister, Gayle.

"Geri was a caring, loving and giving person always willing to help others. Although we miss her presence, we rejoice in the knowledge that her loving soul has moved on to further adventures in the Light and Sound of God."
