Royce Martin Erickson, 38, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Oct. 27, 2025. He was born and raised in Anchorage. Where he spent his life surrounded by family, friends and the beauty of the state he loved. Royce graduated from Dimond High School in 2005. Shortly after, he began working for FedEx, where he proudly worked for 17 years. His dedication, reliability and friendly nature earned him the respect and friendship of many coworkers over the years.

In 2025, Royce married his longtime girlfriend, Ashley, and together they welcomed their daughter, Kyla, in December 2024 – a moment that brought him immense joy and pride.

Royce had a big heart and a creative spirit. He loved playing guitar, spending time outdoors camping and relaxing with video games. He was an avid Minnesota Viking fan and loved oysters, clam chowder, rice krispie bars, root beer floats and lefse. He was known for his easygoing personality, quick humor and generous nature – especially as a big tipper at restaurants, always showing appreciation for others' hard work. His warmth and kindness left lasting impressions on everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Laurie McWethy; uncle, Rick Nienkark; and great-grandmother, Cora Haukom.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley; their daughter, Kyla; his parents, Becky and Brent Brewer; father-in-law, Pat McWethy; grandmother, Helen Nienkark, grandmother, Jetta BrewerHuber; grandfather, Dick Erickson (Betty); aunts, Pam Snyder (Sam) and Diana Franklin; uncle, Phil Brewer (Bonnie); cousins, Brittany Franklin, Chelsea Macpherson (John) and family, Ace Savant and Ambrosia Rose; father, Rich Erickson; sister, Bonnie Conway (Brondon) and family; forever brother, Darron Bradford; as well as many friends and loved ones who will forever hold his memory close.

A celebration of life will be held at Gallo's Mexican Restaurant on the Old Seward Highway on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come share stories, food and memories of a life that touched so many.
