Kathi passed from complications related to her brave battle with cancer.

Kathi worked at the Mat-Su Borough for 27 years. She loved her job and the many friends she made while there.

Kathi was Past President and Past State President of the Emblem Club. Kathi was Past Exalted Ruler of the Palmer Elks Lodge. She had also been serving for the Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service through the Elks State Association for the last 12 years.

Kathi is survived by Victor Johns, her husband of 42 years; sister, Chris; five children, Mary Shannon, Heather, Sandy, Al and Jim; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
