Shawn Konrad Loberg, 52, passed away on Jan. 9, 2025, in a vehicle collision on the Seward Highway.

Shawn was born in Seward, Alaska, on March 17, 1972, and spent the majority of his childhood in the Bird Creek and Girdwood area. He was an avid outdoorsman, dedicated father and partner, and a helping hand to anyone that needed him. He was a lover of animals, music and low-budget movies.

Shawn is survived by his longtime partner, Lori Hibbs; mother, Judy; brother, Kenneth; children, Hailey and America, Gunner and Nicholas; and grandchildren, Eliana, Annika, Nevaeh, Levi, Lauritz and Nicholas Jr. He is preceded in death by his father, Leif.

His memorial service will be held at Valley Bible Chalet in Indian, Alaska, on Feb. 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. Potluck reception to follow.
