Linda Bright

Linda (Troxler) Bright passed away peacefully with family members by her side on May 20, 2024. She was born in Muncie, Ind., on Jan. 24, 1941. Life events brought her to Alaska in 1989 and she remained until her passing.

Linda worked as a nurse for Providence Extended Care and Hope Cottages until her retirement. She was a member of The American Legion, Post 29 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 4207. While a member of the American Legion she was a volunteer for the 4th of July Parade Committee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loka and Anna Troxler; and grandson, Michael Bunch. She is survived by her brother, David Troxler (wife Judy); three sons, Rick Bright (wife Stacey), Russ Bright (wife Mary Ann) and John Bright (wife Chris); 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no service.
