Jackie Victoria Oliver was born on April 21, 1979. In 2003, Jackie started as a mail clerk at ANTHC and worked her way to senior office specialist, with AFHP.
An adventuress, Jackie rode a motorcycle across South Africa to Victoria Falls, snorkeled in Hawaii and Belize, and visited France, Italy and Mexico. Jackie soaked in hot springs in Iceland, and drove all over the U.K. and Scotland. A born-and-bred Alaskan, Jackie enjoyed the many wonders of our state, hiking trails with friends and her loyal dog, Bear. Jackie loved fishing and enjoyed trips with her dear friends and family.
Jackie touched everyone she met with her vibrant sense of joy and fun. All who met Jackie could not help but be touched by happiness and kindness she exuded from her very being. Jackie was a proud Athabascan who found strength and inspiration in all Alaska Native people and cultures.
