Sonja Lynn Kmak of Chugiak, Alaska, passed away on July 23, 2023. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on April 27, 1955, to the late Lee and Barbara Jordan.

Sonja was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Andy - Aug. 20, 2023, would be their 17th wedding anniversary; daughter, Kacie of Anchorage; daughter, Holly Winter with spouse Marci and son Nathan of Anchorage; daughter, Loni Pendergrass with husband Rickie and child Tristan of Kingsburg, Calif.; and son, Nikhil Hankins and Jamie Fessenden of Billings, Mont. Surviving siblings include brother, Stephan and wife Jane Jordan of Anchorage; sister, Sherri and husband Mike Spangler of Chugiak; and brother, Sven and wife Diana Jordan of Anchorage; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends, Lon Hankins and David Haynes of Anchorage.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at 2 p.m., at the Presbyterian Church, 12836 Old Glenn Highway in Eagle River.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations in her memory be sent to the Chinooks Booster Club, P.O. Box 670001, Chugiak, AK 99567-0001.
