Sophia Margie Weeks

Sophia Margie (Mandregan) Weeks, 64, died at her home in Anchorage, Alaska. She was born on St. Paul Island, Alaska, to Tracy and Ludmilla Mandregan.

She graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe High School in 1973. She attended some college at Alaska Pacific University and the University of Alaska.

Sophia loved cooking; her specialty was ham and beans. She also loved music, movies and dancing but, her most favorite thing was watching NASCAR Racing (Jeff Gordon #24).

For those of us that knew her, we knew she had a kind and loving heart. She had a great sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone.

She is survived by her son, Gordon Tracy Weeks; sisters, Hedy M. Christensen and family, Linda Mandregan and family, and Alice Drake and family; and brother, Macarius and Stephanie Mandregan and family.

Sophia is preceded in death by her parents, Tracy and Ludmilla Mandregan; brother, Harry Tracy Mandregan; and sisters, Martha Jane Mandregan and Natalie C. Spaulding.
