Randall Peck, recognizable in a Hawaiian shirt, a smile on his face and a one-of-a-kind laugh, died at his home in Anchorage, Alaska, at the age of 65.
He had countless friends as a result of his fun loving, kind and caring nature. If you were lucky enough to know Randall you could count on his always being there for you. He was truly someone special.
Randall graduated from Dimond High School in 1976, during which time he was awarded his Eagle Scout badge.
He was retired after over 30 years working as a warehouseman, first at ATU then at Alaska Communications.
Randall was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Perhaps when they finally made the play offs he thought they would be alright without his support.
He was a proud member of Christ Community Church, the Moose Lodge and AMVET.
The talented Mr. Peck found happiness singing karaoke, participating in many theater productions with TBA and ACT, 3 Barons Renaissance Fair and Sacred Scriptless.
He loved his herd of cats, music, movies, Halloween, dining at Club Paris and the magnificent view from his "mountain retreat." Randall was also passionate about his yearly cruise highlighting music from the 60s and 70s.
He leaves behind his siblings, Lynda Sekora, Carol Prosser, Gayle Stubbs and Bryan Peck; and numerous nieces and nephews. And, of course, his furry four-legged "babies" all now adopted into good homes.
His immediate family have previously gathered to honor his memory, but there are plans being made by his various groups of friends to celebrate later in summer 2023.
It is easy to imagine him smiling if you were to make a donation in his name to Clear Creek Cat Rescue, Alaska Rescue Kitties ARK or Anchorage Animal Care and Control.
