Charles Augustus Johnson, a lifelong heavy equipment operator in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 61, in his residence in Kenai, Alaska.

Charlie is survived by his children, Jaydn, Tawnya and Tysen; as well as sisters, Inez, Louise, Ida and Johanna; brother, Ernest; and several other loved ones.

Charlie was born on Dec. 9, 1961, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Charlie was a devoted person in general: his work, his family, his OCD and his strong constitution as a human. He enjoyed being on his boat or any boat, hunting, making leather wallets and being around his family. His number one priority was to make sure his kids are doing well in life. He prided himself on teaching respect for elders, nature and yourself.
