Miriam "Mimi" Ruth Ambrose answered the call of our Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Mimi will forever be remembered as our daughter, our sister and our friend, a beautiful and authentic soul who touched the lives of everyone she met, in our community, in her schools and on the wrestling mat.

Mimi predeceased her father, Benjamin Ambrose; her parents, Susan Koller Nieves and Jessie Nieves; paternal grandparents, Carroll Ambrose, Gail West, and Hal West; and maternal grandparents, Richard and Kathryn Koller. Miriam is survived by her siblings, Ashlin Ambrose, Benjamin Ambrose Jr., Damien Ambrose and Vivian Nieves; and by her siblings by marriage, Trevan Nieves and Ashante Nieves.

Miriam will be laid to rest at Angelus Memorial Park in Anchorage, Alaska. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Sugar Grove, Ill., in the coming weeks for her community and friends.

May all who know and love her take comfort in knowing that we will see her again when He calls us home.
