Timothy William Nevills

Timothy William Nevills, 63, of Anchorage, Alaska, was called to his heavenly home Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023.

A resident of Anchorage for the past 13 years, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army for eight years and served honorably as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He completed multiple overseas duty assignments and enjoyed sharing his experiences with others about his time spent living in Germany and Korea.

Tim had a fondness for nature and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his dog, Crash, who had recently taken up with him. He loved music and would often get lost in time and space while listening to his favorite classic rock bands.

Tim was preceded in death by his stepmother, Helen (Joy) Nevills; older brother, Harold W. Nevills Jr.; and stepbrother, Joseph Kumfer.

He is survived by his parents, Harold and Jud Nevills; brothers, Mark (Joanne) Nevills, Tracy (Melinda) Nevills; adopted sister, Jeanette Stuller; and stepbrothers and sisters, Patty Burns, Theresa (Bobby) Newberry, Peggy (Ken) Kammer, Pam Hammac, Robin (Kevin) Munro, Bonnie (Chris) Zaremba, Daniel Kumfer, David Kumfer and Ricky Kumfer.

There will be a private family memorial to honor Tim.
