When someone comes into your life and makes it better, it's hard to let that person go. Such in the case with Bob. He played a big part in many people's lives.
Bob was born in New York City and was raised in the Bronx. He attended high school at La Salle Military Academy on Long Island and graduated in 1964. That is when his incredible journey started.
He backpacked throughout Europe, he visited numerous countries in South America, he traveled to South Korea, explored Mexico, stayed in Costa Rica, enjoyed British Columbia, Canada, and vacationed in Morocco. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He ended up in Anchorage, Alaska, and his first job was selling appliances with Sears. He also sold advertising with the original Anchorage Daily News. Bob eventually made it to the real estate community working for Polar Realty, became co-owner of 2001 Realty, also working for Alpha Group, Dynamic Properties and most recently at Herrington & Co.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Campbell and Edna Campbell (King); sister, Lorraine Murphy; and nephew, Terry Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sister, Dorothy Campbell and partner Agis Kydonieus; sister, Beth Campbell; brother-in-law, Thomas Murphy; and niece, Lori Ann Barone with husband Ernie and their three children, Tommy, Tyler and twin sister Nicolette. He also leaves relatives, treasured friends and numerous colleagues. He will be missed by many.
