Kash Brouillet

Sep 16, 2022
The spectacular Kash Bonaparte Brouillet has joined the heavenly choir as of Sept. 16, 2022.
Kash's eyes radiated mischief from the day he was born on Feb. 28, 1961. He saw adventure and intrigue every day of his life. Kash had a generous heart and maintained a posture of gratitude. As he went on to glory all of his wishes were fulfilled.
After graduation from Dimond High School, Kash lived in Seattle, Wash.; Los Angeles, and then in West Hollywood, Calif. Three years ago, Kash and Richard retired to Palm Springs, Calif.
Kash worked as Executive Chef at 410 Boyd in downtown Los Angeles. Then for ten years, he owned the Blue Star Restaurant that was located in the garment district of Los Angeles. Later, he attained his hairdresser's license and served as an instructor at Paul Mitchell School. Kash wrapped up his career with an independent film production company.
Kash celebrated 27 years of sobriety. A lover of fast cars, art, fine food, music and travel, among his many adventures were favorite cities Paris and Istanbul, and countries Tunisia and Morocco. In his youth, he periodically toured with Lux and Ivy of the Cramps Rock Band. At one time Kash performed as Kashis Elvis. Kash enjoyed many extraordinary lifelong relationships, including friends from childhood.
He was a descendant of a pioneer Alaska family established in 1922.
Celebrating Kash is the love of his life, Richard Domabyl; mother, Kay DuBois; sister, Tara Brouillet and partner Eric Dripps; and brothers, Pat Brouillet and Mark Brouillet and their families. Also celebrating are Kash's friends of the heart, Suzanne Geary, Al Lively and Rich Tobin. Kash was predeceased by his father, Patrick Brouillet; and maternal grandparents, Midge Reeve Andresen and Clark Andresen.
His legacy is the joy he brought to the world and the spirit that he left in his wake. A party billed as "Kash's Bash" is planned for Oct. 15, 2022, in Palm Springs. His ashes will soar into the heavens from France at Quartier Pigalle near the Moulin Rouge.
Remembrances may be made to the Desert Regional Medical Center Oncology Suite.
