Elizabeth Anne Santoro, 84, passed away at her home in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Aug. 11, 2022.

She was born to parents Lloyd and Annabelle Cheers in Pasadena, Calif., on July 9, 1938.

Elizabeth worked for the Kodiak Island Borough School District as a kindergarten teacher for 28 years.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, musician and friend. She always put others first. Elizabeth loved spending her time with family and friends, music and horses.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Lewis J. Santoro.

She is survived by her three children; and four grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Fort Richardson National Cemetery following a service in her memory on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022.
