Lowell Anderson of Eagle River, Alaska, died peacefully at home after battling amyloidosis for three years.

He grew up in the Colorado mountains, where he developed a love of the outdoors which continued throughout his life. Lowell was the happiest when he was with his family and friends hunting, fishing, rafting and spending time at the family cabin. He spent 40 years working in the oil industry with Baker Oil Tools, ASRC/BP and Blue Crest, where he made many lifelong friends. Lowell's family was always first priority.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Paulette; sons, Brett and his family (Lisa, Patrick, Cora, Bella and Rachael) and Tim and his family (Teresa, Lily); and extended family in Arizona and South Carolina.

A celebration of life will be held in Arizona in winter 2022.
