Kainoa Lafaitele Kaleinani Tali

Oct 2, 2004 -

Jul 30, 2022

Kainoa L.K. Tali was received into God's loving arms on July 30, 2022, at the age of 17. He was born to Kennedy F. Tali and Shaila K. Manuel on Oct. 2, 2004, at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his older brother, Isaiah M.K Tali; younger sister, Kennedy A.P. Tali; and puppy, Ame C. Tali.

Kainoa was a loving bright soul, who enjoyed the company of his siblings, Disney movies, the ocean and, most of all, car rides with his mother. Kainoa worked hard in school and occupational therapy, and loved swimming. Kainoa started preschool, at the age of 3, at Williwaw Elementary, where he was in a class for children with autism. Kainoa went on to attend Life Skill classes throughout elementary, middle school and high school, where he would have graduated from Whaley School in May 2023. Kainoa's childlike innocence, smile and laughter were a blessing to everyone. The love he so effortlessly exuded was an invaluable gift. He is deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to Tamara Moore, Moore Therapy, 600 West 41st Avenue, STE 103, Anchorage, AK 99503. Tamara has been Kainoa's Occupational Therapist for 16 years and is very dear to our family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Aug. 27, 2022, with a 10 a.m. viewing and service to follow at Lutheran Church of Hope, 1847 West Northern Lights Boulevard, Anchorage, AK 99517.
