Jul 31, 2022

Dana Lynn Stamps, beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, auntie, niece, cousin and friend, passed away from this earthly world on July 31, 2022, in her Eagle River, Alaska, home on the day of her 32nd birthday.

Dana was born on July 31, 1990, at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. She came to Alaska in 1991, where as a military child she was blessed to be surrounded by many aunties, uncles and cousins, until moving in 2000. After six years in Idaho, she moved to England, where she graduated from Lakenheath High School in the beautiful Ely Cathedral. She returned to Alaska, in 2008, only to leave again in 2010, for Texas, to attend the Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts, graduating in 2011. Her son Antwon was born there to her and Reginald Stamps in June 2012. They returned to Alaska later that year. She worked as a chef in several Anchorage restaurants including Haute Quarter Grill, Simon and Seafort's and most recently serving our healthcare heroes at Alaska Regional Hospital. From the time she was a child, she was kindhearted and loving, often going out of her way to help someone in need. She believed Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior and will join three grandparents and an uncle in her heavenly home.

She is survived by her son, Antwon Stamps; parents, Tom and Robyn Green; sister, Danielle Bradeen (Josh, Aspen); grandmother, Jean Eide; and many aunties, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverside Community Church in Eagle River, at 1 p.m., on Aug. 27, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to AWAIC, Abused Women's Aid in Crisis Inc., 100 West 13th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501.
