Eleanor Alfonsi

Eleanor Alfonsi died on July 13, 2021, in Fairbanks, Alaska, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her sons, Kristofer Alfonsi and John Alfonsi Jr.; and husband, John Alfonsi Sr. She lived in various parts of the state, including Anchorage, Mentasta, North Pole and St. Paul, before settling in Delta Junction.

During most of her professional tenure as a nurse and then a physician assistant, Eleanor dedicated herself to teaching and practicing healthcare in Alaska. She will be remembered for her passion for her work, her thirst for knowledge and her storytelling. Eleanor will be missed by her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pizza Bella in Delta Junction. All her friends are invited.
