Warren Ernest "Ernie" Webb, 79, passed away on June 9, 2022, at his home in Palmdale, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith Fahlgren Webb. Ernie and Judi met and married in Anchorage, Alaska, and went on to raise two sons in the Last Frontier: Jason (Jennifer) of Littleton, Colo., and Brent of Palmdale, Calif. He was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Bryce, Brooklyn, Mya and Avery, whom he loved dearly.

Ernie was born into a large family and is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Eldora; brother, Gary Webb; and sister, Marlyn Melland. He is survived by his oldest brother, Jim (Jean) Webb of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; youngest brother, Mike (Lynne) Webb of Oro Valley, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernie lived in Alaska for 36 years, where he and his brother Mike founded a construction company, MECO. Eventually tiring of those long Alaska winters, the brothers moved the company and families to sunny California, and began Webb Brothers Construction. Ernie was touched and honored to have his nephew and godson, Michael, follow them into the family business.

A magician under the hood of a car, Ernie enjoyed tinkering and restoring old automobiles. As an expert angler, he returned to his home state every summer to fish in Alaska waters. When he wasn't fishing, he could be found on a golf course, where he once recorded a hole-in-one at Monarch Dunes Golf Club in Nipomo, Calif. Ernie enjoyed sharing his passions, and loved spending time with family and friends. "God bless the Green Bay Packers."

Per his wishes, no service will be held, but as Ernie was fiercely patriotic, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
