Theodis Austin

Theodis Austin Sr. was born on Oct. 26, 1952, in Coy, Ark., to Beatrice Austin and the late Perry L. Austin Sr. At the age of 69, he transitioned to his heavenly home on March 20, 2022, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, surrounded by family.

He retired from the USAF in 1991, after 20 years of federal service.

Cherishing his memories is Debra Austin; his children, Cathy Nevels, Kimberly George, Telesha Barnett, Theodis Austin Jr., Theric Austin, Trevor Austin and their families; siblings, Carolyn Austin Qualls, Mary Gupton, Perry Austin Jr., Rev. Tony Austin and Velda Austin; and a host of other family members, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at New Hope Baptist Church, 333 Price St. Anchorage, AK 99508. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. and Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m.
