Nov 27, 2021

Our beloved son, Lucas Ward Williams, age 31, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. Lucas was born in Vancouver, Wash., to Ward and Kerri Williams. Lucas leaves behind his fiancee, Kimberly; son, Matthew Lucas; mom; dad; sister, Jessica; nieces, Jetina and Erika; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog, Ziggy.

Lucas was raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where he enjoyed going to the beach, swimming by the age of 4, body boarding waves with his big sister while his parents watched in fear. Lucas was an adventurous child, catching bugs and stomping them, obsessed with fireworks, always doing something with his sister and the neighborhood kids. His first Nintendo was a present from Grandma at the age of 5, starting his love for gaming which he passed on to his son Matthew. As an adult, Lucas moved to Alaska, where his parents are from, and met his fiancee Kimberly, raising their son, enjoying her great cooking, road trips, going to the park, fishing and movies. Lucas also loved to cook, making Kalua pork in an oven. Lucas was a kind, friendly, good guy who people were drawn to. He was well-liked in the workplace, having careers in restaurants, building homes and facility maintenance. He was looking towards the future of starting a business with longtime friends. He was very knowledgeable on many topics and could hold a conversation with the smartest of people. He is a great loss to his family, friends and loved forever.

We are thankful for all the love and support during our time of sorrow.

A private family memorial was held on Dec. 15, 2021, at Legacy Funeral Home in Anchorage.
