Nichole Ruth Brandon, a beautiful woman inside and out, with a loving and generous heart passed away unexpectedly in Anchorage, Alaska, on Aug. 29, 2021.

Nichole was born in Graham, Wash., to parents Dolly Burke and Paul Brandon. She was in a hurry to arrive and was born at the Fire Station on the way to the hospital. At the age of 2, Nichole and her family moved to Anchorage, where she enjoyed a happy childhood. She attended Dimond High and graduated from Save with a scholarship. Nichole had happy childhood memories of camping with her dad in the Washington wilderness while listening to his stories of UFOs and Sasquatches. She loved the long summer visits with Aunt Frankie and making Barbie clothes with Grandma Lucy. In her teens, Nichole entered many pageants and later began modeling. She studied and became a Dental Assistant in the office of Dr. Ness and found success and enjoyment. Later, she worked in many restaurants as a waitress. Nichole loved traveling, and especially loved her trips to Greece and Hawaii.

Nichole's love of God and her very strong faith helped her through many of life's challenges and struggles. She loved so much being a mother.

Nichole will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her enthusiastic and independent spirit, her kind and loving heart, her intelligence, determination and hardworking nature, her faith in God and her great love for her daughters, Svavah and Izzy, as well as all her family.

Nichole leaves behind her daughters, Svavah and Izzy Burke of Pennsylvania; mother, Dolly Burke and stepdad, Jim Burke; sisters, Chrystal (Sean) Mathers, Sheena (Anthony) Finamore; brother, Greg Shack; aunt, Mary Montague; Aunt Frankie; friends, Sara, Denise and Val; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Nichole was very loved and is deeply missed by her family, especially her mom Dolly, as well as her close friends and past loves.

Nichole was predeceased by her father; maternal and paternal grandparents; and her uncle, Robert, on her mother's side. A celebration of Nichole's life was held previously in a Zoom service on Sept. 12, 2021. Let us remember and honor Nichole's life by being kind, loving and helping those in need. Nichole is now safe in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
