Christopher Mathew Wisdom passed at home due to COVID-19 complications and went to the Lord in Heaven on Oct. 9, 2021. He was born a true Alaskan and enjoyed Alaska's great state of wilderness and opportunities.

Chris was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed what Alaska had to offer! Chris was a fantastic hockey player and loved sports in general, an excellent saxophone and guitar player and was in the jazz band at Bartlett High School. He was on top of his game when it came to academics, and excelled in mathematics at its top. He loved dogs, especially his dog Ruger. Chris enjoyed doing things for his friends, dad and brother Patrick. Chris worked at times in the carpentry field with his dad, and become an excellent tradesman. Chris succeeded in getting his bachelor's degree in business and financing at the top 10% of his class.

Chris became a financial advisor for Wayland Baptist University and was on top of his game. Chris loved his job and his co-workers and became a big part of that family unit in the university.

Chris loved his family and its history, especially his dad and brother Patrick Wisdom. Chris was a person of faith and followed his mother, Catherine H. Wisdom in passing.

There will be a Celebration of Life at University Baptist Church, 4314 Wright Street, off Tudor Road in Anchorage, Alaska, at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the University Baptist Church or Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue adoption organization or a charity of your choice.
