Brian Lee Curtis of Olympia, Wash., born on Oct. 19, 1954, passed away on July 24, 2021. Brian was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for many years.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Oct. 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the LDS Meetinghouse, 600 NW Overhulse Road, Olympia, WA 98507.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella Marie Och and Lloyd Denger (Denney) Curtis; a nephew; and his brother, Raymond Neal (Jeannette Hanson).

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia Beyer (Sonia) Curtis; brothers, Phillip Lloyd (Rebecca Warner) and Gregory Lee (Carol Thomas); nieces and nephews, Doc, River, Jaime, Kevin, Colton, Tanner Steven, Shawna, Steven, Christy and Michelle; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Owen James, Charly Mae, Silas Ray, Violet Grace, Jeremiah, Josephine and Amanda.

Many members of his family are commercial fishermen; the family waits for their return to Washington for the service.
