Aug 18, 2021

Holly Marie Robinson entered eternal life on Wednesday, Aug.18, 2021, in Eagle River, Alaska, at the age of 37. Her spirit is carried on by her three children, nine surviving siblings and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life.

Holly's story starts on July 29, 1984, in Westerly, R.I. Holly was a few months old when she moved back to Alaska. Over the years she completed school and a degree in criminal justice, graduating Feb. 13, 2007. She made a career at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation as a Tax Assistant for the last 14 years, and that was an inception for many friendships.

In April 2001, her first son Jordan was born; this is when we believe her life began. Being a mother was her greatest joy. Later, she met the love of her life, Curlee Robinson, and were married on Jan. 28, 2006, she chose the coldest month of the year because of her love for snowflakes. Together they had her daughter, Iyanah, and her son, Curlee "Porky." Holly's children were her heart and soul. There's no denying that her children were the people that she loved the most.

Holly also really loved dancing, celebrating her birthdays and holidays by getting together with her family and friends. With her presence alone she always got the party started, she lit up any room she was in with her smile, funny jokes and those dance moves. She was always honest with you and said exactly what she thought and then laughed at herself. Most times she would laugh and not be able to stop.

Loved ones that cleared the path for Holly are her stepfather, Raymond L. Wells; grandparents, Mae (Aaka) Clow, Grafton and Jessie Wells, Peter Newman Sr. and Edward Gilluly; mother, Linda Robinson "Big Momma"; and uncles, Randy, Curtis, Norman Wells and Peter Newman Jr.

Loved ones that will miss Holly until they meet again are her parents, Tracey L. Wells and Timothy E. Newman (Karen); children, Jordan Newman, Iyanah Robinson and Curlee Robinson, Aleea Robinson and Lanae Robinson; grandfather, James Clow; grandmother, Priscilla Gilluly; sisters, Rachelle (Michael) Whittington, Ashley Wells, Sharee Robinson, Alycia Newman, Kassidy Newman, Amber Price and Stefanee Livingston; brothers, Kevin (Christy) Wells, Timothy Newman Jr., Timothy Palmer; Pastor Curlee Robinson "Big Daddy"; many much-loved aunts, Barbara (Ricky) McMillan, Tina (Jon) Fulford, Brenda (Tom) Palmer, Bonnie Mosena, Holly Rome, JulieAnn Gilluly; uncles, Scott (Ruth) Clow, James (Josselyn) Clow, George (Debra) Mosena, Matthew E. As well as the many friends and relatives who were blessed to have known her.
