Jeffery W. Dowd passed away on July 20, 2021, in Anchorage, Alaska, with his loving family by his side. Jeff was born in Portland, Ore., on June 14, 1960, as the youngest of six to Perry and Jean Dowd. He moved with his family to Alaska when he was 5 years old, and has been a proud Alaska citizen ever since. His greatest joys were serving his Lord Jesus Christ, loving his wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren and family. Jeff worked for Syntax Productions/Channel 2 News for 47 years and loved his job and co-workers. He used his talents to serve the Lord in the TV Ministry at ABT for over 40 years. He touched so many lives and brought others joy through his sense of humor and sarcasm.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Perry; mother, Jean; and brother, Michael. He survived by his loving wife, Rox Ann; daughters, Lauren, Melissa, Aimee and her husband Taylor White; along with grandchildren, Okalee and Hudson White. He also survived by his siblings: sisters, Mardi Olsen and Beth Johnson; and brothers, Jim and Bill Dowd.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, at 2 p.m., at the Anchorage Baptist Temple, with reception to follow.
