Nancy Lynne Murphy

Our beloved Nancy Murphy, 61, of Eagle River, Alaska, passed away at home on July 4, 2021, due to her battle with breast cancer.

Nancy was born on Jan. 21, 1960, in Rogers City, Mich., to parents John and Betty Gapczynski. She lived a life of many accomplishments. She obtained her bachelor's degree in accounting, owned and instructed in her Jazzercise company and even completed the Mount Marathon Race in Seward, Alaska, 19 times!

Nancy was an avid hiker and passionate Seattle Mariners Baseball fan. She was an outstanding, loving and caring person, beloved by many family, friends and customers.

Nancy is to be scattered over Mount Baldy in Eagle River at a later time.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Gapczinski.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Terry Murphy; mother, Betty Gapczinski; brother, Lee Gapczinski; sisters, Staci Ross and Julie Meyers; son, Kevin Murphy; daughter, Erin Morrell; grandsons, Declan Murphy, Chris Murphy and Bjorn Morrell; and granddaughters, Kiera Murphy and Ebba Morrell.
