Zachary Jed Bourdon, 32, of Anchorage passed away May 9, 2021. He was born to Bridgitte (Taylor) Marquez on Feb. 25, 1989, in Anchorage. Unfortunately, Zack was taken from us doing something that he loved, skateboarding. He was involved in a hit-and-run by an intoxicated driver and declared dead at the scene of the crime.
This was a very tragic and sudden loss for Zack's family. He was third oldest of 11 siblings, a father, uncle, loving boyfriend to Perpetua Sipary and a great friend to many. Zack was always so silly, friendly and caring. He is very loved and will be missed very much.
Zack attended EHS, WHS and Service; he graduated from Nine Star with a GED in 2015, and studied biological science at UAA. He worked as a crew member at McDonalds, cook at Fat Ptarmigan, but his favorite was as a caterer for Cecil's Catering.
Close family and friends remembered Zack as someone who radiated love and light everywhere he went, gifted with a unique loving vibe that reached the hearts of most. He was social and humble with a unique personality and sense of humor; he could make anyone laugh no matter their mood. He loved doing amazing tricks on his skateboard, being around friends and family, most of all his only child, Naomi. Lastly, as a hard worker, Zack took pride in his work, whether at the hotel, senior center or catering, he always went all-in.
Zack is survived by daughter, Naomi Tomaganuk; mother, Bridgitte Marquez; brothers, Cyrus Taylor, Akeem Taylor, Arielo Taylor, Abdul-Aziz Barcenas, Mauricio Marquez, Alejandro Marquez, Adam Tucker; sisters, Leasia Resendiz, Isabel Marquez, Ariana Marquez; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life barbecue will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021; contact family for info. Flowers may be sent to Leasia or Akeem. To share condolences online, please see obituary on Zack's FB page. Thank you to the loved ones of Zachary Jed Bourdon, may he Rest In Love.
