James Christopher Farrell

James "Jimmy" Farrell died on April 26, 2021, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, after a short illness.

He was born on Oct. 25, 1965, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage. He was the third of four children born to Martin A. Farrell Jr. and Shirley A. Farrell (nee Starmer).

Jimmy attended Inlet View Elementary, Central Jr. High and West Anchorage High School. He graduated from high school at St. Nicholas of Tolentine in the Bronx, N.Y., where he played basketball. He briefly attended Columbia University.

Jimmy lived in Anchorage and Girdwood. He worked at a variety of jobs.

He was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his children: daughters, Taylor and Chloe Farrell; and son, Ever Schuyler Maslanka; and by his siblings, Ellen (Duffy Jensen), Michael (Alison) and David.
