Roman Daniel Toliver, 31, passed away unexpectedly at Providence Medical Center on Jan. 11, 2021.
Roman was born on Aug. 21, 1989, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Roy and Mary Toliver. He graduated from Service High School in 2008.
He enjoyed watching sports especially his favorite teams the Philadelphia Eagles, Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Braves. Also, his two favorite TV shows, Impractical Jokesters and MTV Ridiculousness.
Roman is survived by his parents, Roy and Mary Toliver; brothers, Joshua and Justin Toliver; nephews, Jeramiah Allard-Toliver and Jah'siah Allard-Odom; and nieces, Isabelle "Izzy" Packa and Izabella "Bella" Allard-Toliver; uncles, Tony Toliver, Christopher Toliver and E. Thomas Garrett; aunt, Cyndee Toliver; grandpa, Winston Toliver; aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Anthony Viera; cousins, Rodsney Warren, Samantha and Alexander Viera, Jaden and Jaxson Toliver; and godparents, Dan Carver and Lisa Tibbo. Also those close family and friends that he grew up calling his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorthy Strickland; his paternal grandmother, Theodora "Teddy" Toliver; and great-grandmother, Mary Choate.
A private funeral service due to COVID-19 will be on Feb. 12, 2021, at 11 a.m., at the Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home, Bragaw Chapel in Anchorage. The graveside service will be at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery at 2 p.m.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for family and friends.
Pallbearers are: Rodsney Warren, Izavia Ashanti "Zay" Parker, Kodi Straight, Quinton "Q" Allen, Joshua Toliver and Alexander "Alex" Viera.
