Joshua Lee Warfield
Jan 27, 1990 -
Dec 20, 2020
Joshua Lee Warfield ended his life on Dec. 20, 2020, due to years of depression.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1990, in Palmer, Alaska, to Mark Warfield and Helen Lee Barry.
He enjoyed camping/fishing, kayaking, biking, gaming/pool and finding great deals. Creating memories with his young daughter Sophia was always "very special." Josh's friendly, funny and caring personality was enjoyed by both family and friends. His aptitude for mechanics and electronics impressed many. Josh took pride in his performance at any job and his dedication and great work ethics shined through.
Mark, his father, said that "I and Josh's mother LaPreil and Josh's sisters loved him to the Moon and Back." Not only was his son a loving and caring individual, but he was always willing to provided help to others in need.
His mother Helen asks you to join her in faith that Josh is with God, in peace, and God will provide a reunion. There is a request for an intersession of prayers for those with depression. When prayers are performed from the heart it creates a musical procession of one thousand angels singing praise to the Lord for each prayer – this can create so many miracles.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents: Earl and Elizabeth Barry, Larry Kuhlman and Chester Warfield.
He is survived by his daughter, Sophia; mother, Helen Barry; father, Mark (LaPreil) Warfield; sisters, Ashley and Molly Warfield; grandmothers, Loyola Kuhlman and Brookie Herzog; Sophia's mother, Christina Christ; great-uncle and aunt, Paul and Bev Barry; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
There are plans for a Celebration of Life next summer that will be published at a later date.
For those who want to donate, in lieu of flowers, there is a Memorial Account at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union #4976123.
