Claudette Schroeder

Our beloved Claudette Schroeder has passed away at home in Anchorage, Alaska, on Nov. 28, 2020.

Claudette was born in Childress, Texas. She made her way up north landing in Anchorage, on Jan. 1, 1971. She lived in Kenai, Alaska, from 1978–1996, before returning to her home state of Texas. Claudette made her final move back to Anchorage in 2019.

Claudette was a proud member of the Church of Christ, Pampa, Texas. When working, she owned and operated "Humdingers" with her former husband Willy. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, shopping, sewing and crafts, and family gatherings.

Those left to carry on her memories are three sons, Vic Koontz and wife Deb of Pampa, Texas, Michael Dinger and wife Sarah of Anchorage, and Scott Dinger and wife Stephanie of Hauser, Idaho; two daughters, Kelley Coyle-Fleer and husband Dean of Anchorage, and Rhonda Burrell of Strong, Maine; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Cody, Casey, Roy, Anthony, Cassie, Melissa, Zachary , Renae and Michael; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepparents; her brothers, Larry and Bill; sister, Theresa; and grandson, Tim.

Celebration of Life Graveside Services were held on Dec. 4, 2020, in Pampa.
