Richard "Rick" John Galang

Richard "Rick" John Galang, 63, was called home to Heaven on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a man of great faith and loved his daughter fiercely. He always believed in God's greater purpose no matter what obstacle was thrown his way. He was deeply loved and was a light to many with his humorous and happy personality. The family sends a special thanks to the hundreds of people who were praying for him in his final days and for all the love and support as they grieve.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Galang. He is survived by his daughter, Katie Galang; siblings, Patty Foley, Pam Girard, Jerry Galang, Barbara Galang and Don Galang; and father, Richard Galang Jr.

The family will be holding a private ceremony for immediate family only.
