Duane Fields Jr.
May 9, 1972 -
Oct 21, 2020
Duane Byron Fields Jr. was born on May 9, 1972 to Duane Byron Fields Sr. and Pearley M. Bingham at Elmendorf Alaska.
Duane attended Save High School in Anchorage. Duane was a gentle giant that would literally help anyone. If you were down and out, he was the person to go to. Duane was an honest jovial man that loved unconditionally. He was a friend to the end.
Duane faced many obstacles in his life which he would happily tell you that he made it through them all by the grace of God. Duane dearly loved the Lord and was looking forward to the Covid 19 Virus to subside so that he could attend church with his mother and children.
Most of his time was spent working at the Chelsea Inn Hotel, or with one or more of his children. His children meant everything to him. He could not seem to keep his hands off them, he was always rough housing with them, hugging them, kissing them or something.
Duane was tragically taken from this earthly home and transitioned to this heavenly home on Oct. 21, 2020 while shielding those he loved. Duane's passing leaves many aching hearts that in time will be soothed by beautiful memories. We give honor to God for allowing us to have him with us for 48 years.
