Timothy G. Alex, 57, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, surrounded by family.

Tim was born on Jan. 2, 1963, in Seattle, Wash., to Clifford and Emma Jean Alex. In 1969, he moved to Anchorage with his family. Tim attended East High School in Anchorage.

Tim had a big heart and an infectious laugh that captivated those around him. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, doing home improvement projects and listening to music. Tim was an avid car enthusiast and took full advantage of outdoor activities in Alaska.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Clifford E. Alex Sr.; and granddaughter, Precious D. Alex-Talamaivao. He is survived by his mother, Emma Jean Alex; companion, Stephanie Robinson; children, Jemar, Demetra, Precious, Ja'Nae, Chanel, De'Ray and Timothy Jr.; siblings, Clifford and Alisha Alex of Portland, Ore., Jeffery Alex of Seattle, Monique and Stanley of Dallas, Texas, Misty Alex of Dallas, Jackie Alex of Seattle and Jonathan Alex of Seattle; grandchildren; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
