Ronald Eugene Maddox proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran. After completing his military service, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to Alaska.

In 1980, Ronald met Denise, the love of his life. Together, Ronald and Denise built a family and shared many years of memories. Ronald was a proud father and grandfather who deeply loved his three children, Alisa, Michael and Ryan, and his three grandchildren, Tristin, Jackson and Berlin. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, family, friends and all whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held on Sept. 27, 2026, at 3 p.m., at the Sterling Community Center.
