William Norman Moore, 93, passed away on Nov. 1, 2025, at home in Palmer, Alaska. He was born to Norman H. Moore and Maudee Spencer on July 31, 1932, in Tacoma, Wash. William served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1972, and was stationed in Korea, Texas, England, Maine, Washington, Philippines, and North Carolina. He worked for the Municipality of Anchorage from 1972-1982, Bible teacher, and pastor for more than 45 years. He met Susan Moore and married in March 2001, in Palmer. He was a wonderful father, husband and provider for his family. He had a passion for music, the Holy Bible and serving God's people. He loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Jeanne Moore.
He is survived by brother, Orrie Moore (Barbara) of Longbranch, Wash.; son, William A. Moore of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Karin Barker (Bill) of Palmer, Janis Moore of Palmer, Marcie Menefee (Wyn) of Palmer, and Marilyn Johnson (Mark) of Palmer; stepdaughter, Brandy Kozeroff (Sean Sebastian) of Ontario, Canada; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Billy Moore, David Gibler, Tracy Borland, Amy Hallinan, Jennifer Nicholas, Jeanne Ewart, Jeremy Williams, Laura Trejo, Amanda Bowles, Audrey Johnson and Mark David Johnson, Caleb Glaser, Ryan Gibler, Luna Borland, Andromeda Borland, Bridget Hallinan, Olivia Trejo, Gwyneth Trejo, Tyler Sebastian, Trenton Sebastian and Terra Sebastian.
The Memorial service will take place on Nov. 10, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Matanuska Assembly of God in Palmer. Followed by the graveside interment at Pioneer Cemetery in Palmer at 3 p.m.
