Vivian was born to Andrew J. Tyone and Mary (John) Tyone on Dec. 14, 1960, in Glennallen, Alaska.
Vivian was raised in Northway and Gulkana then moved to numerous places in Alaska, to include Delta Junction and Fairbanks, finally making her home in Tazlina, where she devoted her time to her family and the numerous children throughout the neighborhood, including young adults who needed a prayer, someone to just talk to or a meal. Vivian's home was always filled with children at mealtimes and she also called relatives who worked nearby to stop in for lunch. She had a generous heart and never turned anyone away. She also fostered her two grandsons, Zachariah and Zephaniah Tyone; she was completely devoted to them.

Vivian worked briefly as a Certified Nurse Assistant at the Denali Center in Fairbanks, where she gained knowledge in the medical field and used her skills and knowledge to care for her aging parents. Her compassion for other elders was demonstrated by taking them in for short-term care. She had a heart for hurting people. She will be greatly missed by all.
