Victor D. McNeil, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, died of natural causes.

Proper identification is required to enter the Fort Richardson Base, at the Arctic Valley Ramp, for services on on Jan. 12, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., for procession behind the hearse. Survivors including wife, Mary McNeil; Victor D. McNeil III; siblings, Marina Lopez, Cynthia M. Kaloke and M. June Lonsdale; and several beloveds too numerous to list here. Victor was predeceased by family, Victor W. McNeil, Margaret Isaac-McNeil, Francis and Darrel McNeil.

Victor loved all things related to nature, NASCAR, skiing, carpentry, carving ivory and teaching subsistence skills. He had close ties to the Native village of Eklutna and Knik, Alaska.
