Shayne E. Calkins, 53, passed away at Providence Hospital on May 14, 2021, from complications due to an intracranial brain hemorrhage.

Shayne was born in Riverton, Wyo., on Sept. 2, 1967, to Everette and Ilona "Lonnie" Calkins. After high school, he followed in his father's footsteps and became a self employed garage technician.

Shayne was always willing to help someone in need. "The type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back," his friends and family wrote. He was married to Julie Gaul on Dec. 25, 1995, and they have four children.

He is survived by his children Shayne, Tabitha, Cody and Trinity; brothers, Chris, Terry and Matthew; and parents, Everette and Lonnie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Calkins.

Shayne's hobbies included kayaking and scuba diving.
