Sharon Ann Boskofsky, 67, passed away at home in Anchorage on March 21, 2021.
Sharon was born on April 21, 1953, in Tatitlek, Alaska, to Steve and Illene Totemoff. She was raised in Tatitlek and moved to Ouzinkie where she raised her family, finally moving to Anchorage. Sharon worked as an Indian Child Welfare Social Worker in Ouzinkie and as a member of the Ouzinkie Tribal Council for 20 years. She attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Sharon married Christopher Kenny Boskofsky Sr. on Feb. 23, 1975, in Anchorage. Sharon was a member of the Russian Orthodox church and enjoyed baking and cooking.
A visitation will take place on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 12 p.m., at St. Innocent's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 401 Turpin Street in Anchorage. Father Jonah Andrew will officiate the service starting at 1 p.m. Following the service, Sharon will be laid to rest at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will include: Ronnie Totemoff, Brandon Totemoff, John Wayne Totemoff, Julius Juliussen, Walter Bent and Peter Anderson.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Chris K. Boskofsky Sr.; son, Chris K. Boskofsky Jr.; daughters, Jamie M. Brink and Crystal K. Boskofsky; sons-in-law, Kenny F. Brink and Luis A. Lemus Sr.; granddaughters, Ashley D. Brink, Hayley N. Brink, Kelley S. Brink and Isabel C. Lemus; grandsons, Luis A. Lemus Jr. and Jace E. Boskofsky; brothers, Jerry M. Totemoff, Roy S. Totemoff and Ronnie S. Totemoff; sisters, Maxine Y. Totemoff and Peggy M. Totemoff; godson, Andy L. Boskofsky Jr.; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Steve Totemoff Sr. and Illene Totemoff; sister, Donna Juliussen; brothers, Steve Totemoff Jr., Wayne Totemoff and Arnold Totemoff.
