Scotty Melton Carlisle passed away on Feb. 25, 2021, in Keller, Texas. He was 85 years of age.

A Memorial Service was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.

Scotty was born on Aug. 28, 1935, to Willie Homer and Bertie Lee Carlisle in Mills County. He was an Alaska Trucking Associate and a longtime member of the Keller Lions Club. Scotty loved antique cars, and playing poker, dominoes and other card games. He married Sylvia Cossette on Sept. 25, 1955.

He is preceded in passing by his parents; and his sisters, Grace and Jaunell.

Scotty is survived by his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Sylvia; son, Scotty Jr. and wife Laura; stepgrandkids, Sylvia and husband Marty, Felipe, and Melissa and husband Beto; great-grandkids, Kevin, Ian, Alex, Jesse, Khloe and Alyssa; great-great-granddaughter, Esmeralda "Esme"; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
