Robert was called home to rest on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023. Beloved son to George and Gail West; brother to Charlene, George and Michelle; father of Lydia, Jacob, and Michelle; grandfather of Ember and Thanos; soul mate to Iris; and friend to many.

Robert was a free-spirited artist. A rebel with the wit of a sage and the heart of a lion. A Christian man. Flawed and stained, but with a deep anchor of faith. He bore the brilliance of his father, and his mechanical aptitude helped countless friends and family members. He was the man you could count on when a hand was needed.

His absence will always be felt.
