Richard Glore, age 51, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on May 21, 2025, surrounded by his family. Richard was born Nov. 21, 1973, in Barstow, Calif., to his father Vernie Glore and mother Crystal Craine. He was a lifelong mechanic, a proud family man and friend to many.
Richard was known for his outdoor adventures with his family such as camping, and riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Richard was a man with a sense of humor, and the one you could call with questions or for words of encouragement or comfort to whomever needed. He loved his job, and was always ready to lend a helping hand, even if it was Sonya who volunteered him to do so. He is deeply loved by all his family, friends and community. He will be missed, and memories that were made will be cherished forever.
Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sonya; children, Jonathan (Missy), Stevin (Shayla), Anthony (Lisa), Theo (Ryan) and Thia; sister, Jessica; father, Vernie; grandson, Felix; granddaughters, Emberlynn and Rosalie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and more. Richard is preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine; mother, Crystal; sister, Carla; grandparents on both sides.
A celebration of life will be held on June 5, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Witzleben Chapel, 1707 S. Bragaw Street in Anchorage. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sonya's Go Fund Me/Venmo/global account, or mailed.
There will be food and drinks to follow at the Glore home.
