Richard Kircher

Richard Scot Kircher passed away at home on Oct. 16, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1959, in Burlington, N.J., to parents Wolfgang Kircher and Ingeborg Kircher.

He worked as a Ramp Service Agent for Alaska Airlines for 38 years. Richard also worked for other airlines at Ted Steven's International Airport, totaling 47 years of employment at the airport.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Kircher, and sons, Neil Kircher, Ryan Kircher and Joshua Kircher. He is also survived by the mother of his sons, Margaret "Peggy" Kircher; sisters, Patricia Woods and Irmgard Ellis; and brother, Wolfgang P. Kircher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wolfgang and Ingeborg Kircher. Visitation will be on Dec. 12, 2025, at 12 p.m., at the Heritage Chapel at Angelus, 440 E. Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska. Funeral Services will be held at the Heritage Chapel at Angelus at 1 p.m., on Dec. 12, 2025. Interment will follow at 2 p.m., at the Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery.
