Paul Davis
Nov 29, 1947 -
May 20, 2021
Paul passed away from Alzheimer's disease surrounded by his wife and three daughters. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Suzanne Davis; daughters, Rebecca Davis, Abbi Smith (Billy Smith) and Emily Luke (Greg Luke); and grandchildren, Aubrey and Ben Davis-Loosli, Owen and Reese Luke, Elijah and Lincoln Smith.
Paul and Suzanne moved to Alaska in 1973, when Paul began his close to 50-year law career as a clerk for a superior court judge. Paul was a proud member of downtown Rotary and was a founding member of Bridge Builders in Anchorage.
Paul often shared that his dream from a young age was to have a family. He was eternally and deeply in love with Suzanne, and he was beloved by his children and grandchildren. Paul had a way of making each family member feel special, unconditionally loved and understood. He enjoyed the simple things: beautiful flowers and trees, talking with birds, long walks and hikes with his dog, cooking elaborate meals, reading mystery books and listening to the Eagles. But, more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
His family will hold a memorial service in July 2021, at the botanical gardens. In lieu of flowers, you can send a contribution in Paul's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Anchorage, 1750 Abbott Road, Anchorage, AK 99507.
